Where your responsibility ends and ours begins, clause by clause.

What it is

Incoterms

Incoterms are the International Commercial Terms published and regularly updated by the International Chamber of Commerce. They exist to prevent confusion by clarifying the obligations of buyer and seller — transport, export clearance, and the physical point at which risk transfers.

Tell us the term on your contract and the quotation comes back split the same way, so you can see exactly which legs you are paying for.

What we provide

Inside the service

The parts of incoterms we run ourselves.

EXW, FCA, FAS, FOB

The seller’s obligation ends early — at the works, with the carrier, alongside the ship or on board. Everything after that is yours, and ours to arrange.

01

CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP

The seller pays the main carriage, and in the insured terms the cover as well. Risk still passes earlier than the cost does, which is where most disputes start.

02

DAP, DPU, DDP

Delivery at the named place, unloaded at it, or with duty paid. The seller carries the risk the whole way.
